Zia park, interface of mini Bangladesh. When visitor come to Bangladesh
especially in Chittagong, Shaheed Zia Smriti Complex is one of the great

Dighapatia Rajbari Natore
Dighapatia Raj (sometimes called Dighapatia Raj Paribar
literally Dighapatia Royal Family was a zamindari in present-day Rajshahi,
which was ruled by this dynasty of 7 generations of Rajas from early 18th
century till the mid-20th century; when the democratic government took power
after the end of the British Monarchy's rule in India, in 1950, the East Pakistan
government abolished aristocracies and the zamindari system in present-day
Bangladesh. The family was seated at the Dighapatia Palace.
The first Raja was Dayaram Roy who, at a very young age,
received the help from Raja Ramjivan
Roy, the first Raja of the Natore Raj family,
and eventually became his dewan. Raja Dayaram led
the army of Raja
Ramjivan in aid of the Nawab of Bengal in 1716 and overthrew
the rebellious Raja Sitaram Ray,
who was a zamindar (and later king, or Raja) of neighbouring Bhusna state. The
sack of Muhammadpur, Raja Sitaram's capital, later enabled him to ultimately
lay the foundation of the Dighapatia dynasty. For his loyalty, he received
large tracts of land in Rajshahi and Jessore as grants and later acquired zamindari
in Bogra and Mymensingh.
Nawab Murshid Quli
Khan, who was the nawab of Bengal under Emperor Aurangzeb conferred on him the
title of 'Rai-Raiyan' in
recognition of his services. When the
Earl Cornwallis of East India company who were given the right
to collect revenue on behalf of the Mughal emperor introduced the Permanent
Settlement Act as a means to increase revenue collection, a
large number of the old feudal lords and zamindars created during the time of
the Nawab Murshid Quli Khan could not meet land revenue standards and thus
became defaulters. Their estates were sold up to a new class of wealthy lords.
Baldha Garden Dhaka a Botanical Place in Bangladesh
Baldha Botanical Garden was established in the year 1904 by
a property owner named Narendra Narayan Roy. The garden is more than three
acres in size. The Forestry Department took the responsibility of the garden in
the year 1962. There are collections of rare plants in this botanical garden
which were imported from fifty countries. This is an amazing place to visit and
every year thousands of visitors visit this unique place to enjoy the beauty of
nature and tranquillity.
Major Attractions
In the Baldha Botanical Garden, you will find trees and
plants of thousands of species coming from various parts of the world. At
present, there are about 18 thousands of indigenous and exotic plants. There
are two sections of the garden named Cybele and Psyche. In the Psyche section,
you will see lily pond, massive sundial, sankahdighi, blue nympheas, papyrus
and various other plants.
Transportation and Communication
The place is located at Wari in old Dhaka. You can
visit Baldha Botanical Garden though buses and rickshaws. A lot of bus
services, from all over Bangladesh are available that takes people to this
tourist spot. The spot is very close to the Saidabad Bus Terminal.
For foreigners who are coming from Airport can reach this spot by CNG, Taxi or Bus. They will have to get down in Tikatuli and then reach the spot on foot or by rickshaw.

The tourist spot is located only one or two kilometers away
from the central town of Natore. One can reach the breathtaking the spot by any
vehicles from the central city. The total area of the place is about 43 acres.
Dayaram Roy built it. The tourist spot was almost wrecked at the time of
earthquake of 1897. Pramanda Nath Roy repaired the partially damaged building.
At present, thousands of visitors from all over the world come to visit the
tourist spot every year.

Tamabil Sylhet
Tamabil Sylhet is a land port in Bangladesh. The place is
under Goanghat Upazila. It is a border area with India. The site is just 5 km
before Jaflong.

Tamabil Sylhet locates on the border of Bangladesh and
India. Also, it approaches the Meghalaya state of India. The site is mostly
famous because of the Bangladesh Last House and Jointa Hill Resort. Hence, you
must not miss the chance to visit these sites. Moreover, you will be able to
view the waterfalls across the border. The scenery will certainly baffle you.

How to Go to Tamabil
From Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the distance is
285 km. So, it will take 6 hours to reach the site. Moreover, if you took an
aero route to Osmani International Airport, Sylhet-3102, you will need only 40
minutes. The distance from Saidabad Bus Stand is 287 km. Therefore, it may take
6 hours and 20 minutes to reach the destination. From Gabtoli Bus Stand, the
site is 301 km away. Hence, you may need 6 hours and 30 minutes to cover the
distance. You will have to get down to Tamabil Bus Station.
